Explanation Writing.
Task Description: Room 1 literacy class did a explanation writing about a thesis statement. we had to write about Responsibility, Pets, Devices, and last of all was Chinese new years celebrating and performing a dragon dance. We had to write in every slide to complete this task so we could move on to the next one.

INQUIRY: Octopuses and Cephalopods.
Task Description: The task that out teacher gave us is about octopuses and cephalopods.
We learned about the brains, the 3D texture of it's skin and even the chromataphores too.
We were watching the video of the squid, cuttlefish and the octopus. We were in groups underlining the key words as well.

INQUIRY: Zebrafish.
Task Description: We had a Scientist come in our class and his name was Dr Thierry. we had to draw the developing eye of an zebra fish. We also learned that their cells are similar to our cells.
We enjoyed having Dr Thierry in our class learning about the eyes of an zebra fish.
INQUIRY: The Origin of Life.
Task Description: In our home class we did a task about the origin of life. this included cells, animals, microscopic blobs and other things. It was fun watching the video about the origin of life, because this scientist explained how life first started, but i thought god made every thing.
We saw how the creatures got into land too.

INQUIRY: fragile Web of Life.
Task Description: We learned about the fragile web of life. I saw the people cutting down the trees to build their own wooden table and chairs.
And they also cut the fins off fishes and sharks too.
Sports Shed.
Task Description: What we did was that we looked at this sheet about Sport Sheds. We had to read what the story was all about. we worked out which was it, volume or perimeter.
after that we had to write down the numbers on each side of the container.

5 Fun experiments.
Task description: Thinking like a Scientist is cool. It's like students learning about it and getting more attention. According to people that want to become Scientists, they have to investigate unique things.
My reading group had to watch the video before we did the task. Doing 5 fun experiments would definitely amaze your friends.
