Sky Tower Lights For Matariki.

Task Description: For today's in the news was about reading sentences about the light of the sky tower. We were reading sentences in a group and also recording ourselves saying each of these sentences. We used screen casting to record our voices. Me and my group also learned about words that wasn't understandable for us.

In the News - Wk 10 - Not all heroes wear capes - Room 2 Literacy.

Task Description: For today's task we did the same thing. Looked at today's In the News. It was about 3 people saving a kiwi from a stoat biting it. It talks about how they save the kiwi on the document. We than started doing word groups to finish it and went on the writing our reflections on what we saw and read.

In the News - The Undley Bracteate - Rooom 2 Literacy.

Task Description: We were doing a task about a ancient bracteate, also old sentences in different languages. We tried pronouncing the word, we had two people in front to read out the paragraphs, this was before we started this. We buddied up and was reading each of these paragraphs.
Some of us translated and wrote what that word mean't.

In the News - Fight Angaisnt Wasps - Room 2 Literacy.

Task Description: The task we did was that we had to look up the news for today and read what it's saying, also we had to write our reflections, like our thoughts, what we think and other stuff that we reflect on. We were reading about the wasps nest in Chatham Islands. There were many details in the story and the wasps nest was bigger than e netball in the picture.
