Pandemic of 1918.

What Is the Flu? Influenza, or Flu, is a virus that attacks the respiratory system.


The 1918 influenza (pandemic) did not, as many people believed, originally.
In the spring of 1918, just as the man-made horrors of World War 1.
The Spanish Flu, also known as the 1918 flu pandemic, was an unusually deadly influenza
pandemic. Lasting from January 1918 to December 1920, the world's population at the time.
People were infected an estimated 500 million people worldwide about one-third of the
planet's.


According to this, the Corona-virus causes more severe diseases than seasonal influenza.
Now with air travel, a virus can spread from one continent to another in a matter of hours. 
Whatsoever, the Spanish Flu has happened before, by the summer of 1919,
the flu pandemic came to an end, however, as those that were infected either died or
developed immunity. However, a highly contagious wave of influenza appeared with a
vengeance in the fall of that same year.
In just one year, 1918, the average life expectancy in America plummeted by a dozen years.

Task description: For this task we had to write important and detailed things about the (Pandemic of 1918) We had to learn about what happened in the past, including the seasonal flu which is the Spanish Flu. We first had to create a doc and write about it, then we could carry on writing it.

This way, when you write your summary (synthesis) of the text it is in your own words. This is a very important skill to continue to work on during this year. Do you think you could try to rewrite your summary in your own words?
